through Friday, 7:45 a.m., at the Hebrew Day School
We ask every
household in the congregation to make a commitment to attend at
least one Shabbat service -- Friday or Saturday - every month.
Congregation Beth
Am prides itself on being a family unity within the House of
Israel.
We come together to offer our strength in times of sadness as we
stand by and with our
friends when they recite Kaddish on Shabbat.
We also gather in
the Sanctuary to offer support in times of celebration.
At Beth Am, parents and children attend each other’s Bat/Bar Mitzva
celebrations,
whether they know the celebrants or not!
It is understood that every joyous occasion is a time to be together
–
namings and B’nai Mitzva services, aufrufs and special anniversary
celebrations.
We are privileged
to be a congregation where everyone understands
what it means to be a family,
and nothing less.
